Transfer Information
A large percentage of students entering University of Phoenix have earned credits from other educational institutions. The need to work extensively with these institutions to articulate and transfer program credits is essential in servicing the needs and degree completion goals of students.
As of 2008, the articulation office of University of Phoenix has completed more than 665 formal alliance agreements with two-year institutions to successfully provide a seamless transition from an associate's degree to a bachelor’s degree. The University is working to gain a total of 1,000 alliance agreements by the end of 2008.
Our Transfer Guides, which are updated annually, map the general and elective credits that transfer and fulfill University of Phoenix program requirements.
Acceptance of credit by any institution is at the discretion of the accepting institution. It is the student's responsibility to confirm whether or not credits accepted by or earned at University of Phoenix will be accepted by another institution.
